Consumer expert Rebecca Wilcox investigates football ticket fraud
This weekend, thousands of Manchester football fans will descend on Old Trafford for the derby where United take on City. Tickets for big matches such as this can be like gold dust, which has led scammers to strike.
Consumer journalist Rebecca Wilcox looks hears from one man who lost hundreds when the person he was trying to buy tickets from decided to sell them to someone else for more money. Plus she explores how it's illegal in many instances to resell or purchase second hand match tickets.

In response to this film, the FA said that fans should only purchase tickets through official channels. It says where possible it will cancel tickets listed for sale on unofficial channels. The Premier League said it acts against unofficial resellers and its website offers guidance on safe ticket buying. It also plans new digital ticketing rules to curb touting next season.
And Arsenal Football Club said measures to combat touts include on the ground operatives, seat checks, and ticket collections. It said its digital ticketing system helps detect fraud, and it has cancelled over 31,000 accounts for fraudulent ticket attempts this season. It says that supporters engaging in touting may be banned and reported to the police. Liverpool FC did not respond to requests for comment.
