TRANSLATION 2Max Morrison, 18, became Redruth Town Crier last year, but the traditional clothes were notpart of his vision for the role.Since then, a team of artists have embroidered and stitched a new coat, featuring images torepresent the past and future of the town.Mr Morrison wore the coat for the first time at the start of the St Piran鈥檚 festival. He said itwas the combined effort of "all of the wonderful people" of Redruth.Becoming town crier had been a dream of Mr Morrison's since he was 13 years old, but ongetting the role he discovered he was not a fan of the traditional outfit.Local artist Sue Hill came up with the idea for the Story Coat, a new piece of clothingfeaturing the work of other Redruth artists.Each person had to create a patch representing the town, which could be sewn on to the coat.

TRANSLATION Formed on 4 March, 1824, the charity has saved more than 144,000 lives across the UK and Ireland. Agnes Clemens, a shop volunteer at the Newquay station who has received a medal for 40 years of service, said she would keep supporting the charity as long as she could. Ms Clemens volunteers alongside her daughter Elizabeth Carne and grandson Richard, who is a boathouse guide. Newquay lifeboat station is run entirely by volunteers. Gareth Horton, Newquay's operations manager, has received an MBE for 50 years of service, and has done most jobs at the station in that time. "Being in the boat takes a bit of beating, but my responsibility now is to ensure the safety and welfare of all the crew members and that is an absolute privilege" he said.That鈥檚 all from me, have a good week.
