Former light-welterweight champion Amir Khan has said the fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor is a fight "between MMA and boxing".

Khan told 5 live Breakfast: 鈥淚t鈥檚 a fight between MMA and boxing, not between Mayweather and Conor McGregor but the winner will only be great for their sport.鈥�

Khan added: 鈥淚f Mayweather wins in good style it could turn a lot of the UFC fans back on to boxing.鈥�
