Two young widows say people ignore them because "they don't know what to say", but that it would be better if people didn't avoid them. Jayne lost her husband when she was 32 and Diane was 40 when her husband took his own life.

The pair have become firm friends after finding support through a charity called WAY - Widowed and Young and say it's helped them with their grieving process.

Jayne explained her husband is buried in the local church and that two graves down lies Diane's partner and says "even when we die, we're going to be next to each other!"

Their advice to those who are newly bereaved is to "plan nice things to do" and to make sure they "take time" for themselves.
