NSPCC concerned with 'child-like' sex dolls sold online

Amazon has removed a number of sex dolls from its website, following an investigation by ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 5 live.

The NSPCC says it is alarmed by the 'child-like' features of some dolls being openly sold online.

Speaking to Adrian Chiles, the NSPCC’s head of development Jon Brown explained their concerns about products available on specialist doll sites and via Amazon.

An Amazon spokesman told 5 live: "All Marketplace sellers must follow our selling guidelines and those who don’t will be subject to action including potential removal of their account. The products in question are no longer available."

Of the two specialist doll sites contacted by 5 live, one said it was no longer operating, and the other did not respond.
