Football Manager's scouting network: World's largest?
The developers of Football Manager say they believe their scouting network is now the largest in the world, with 1300 scouts in 51 countries.
They claim they have more scouts than Manchester United, and are able to get reports from all teams in the UK, plus their reserve and youth team matches, throughout the season.
Miles Jacobson, the director of Football Manager at Sports Interactive told Phil Williams that most teams now use his game as a resource so they have a guide to players before they go to see them.
The 2017 version of the game is the first to have a Brexit mode - which means managers in the game could find it difficult to get work permits for players, a few seasons from now. The beta version of the game has gone online today.
