The Queen's Birthday, Rats and Sport Relief
Mike McCarthy sits in alongside Jo to start your day with the latest news and updates.
The Queen celebrates her 90th birthday in June, but some are questioning whether holding a big bash for the occasion in the middle of the Leicester city centre is the most appropriate idea.
Leicestershire County Council and Leicester City Council are splitting the cost of a party 50-50, and it's been agreed it will be held on Jubilee Square.
Simon Galton, leader of the opposition Lib Dem group at County Hall, feels the rest of Leicestershire might be missing out. So where would the public like the Queen's 90th Birthday to be celebrated?
Well it's all about location, location, location as 成人快手 Radio Leicester's Manish Verma has been finding out.
In the year since the re-interment of King Richard III in Leicester, the cathedral has welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors eager to pay their respects to the last Plantaganet King of England.
But there's been lots of other unwelcome visitors recently to the Cathedral Gardens. We're talking rodents - rats to be precise. So why? And what's being done? We've sent over our volunteer rat catcher, Helen McCarthy to find out!
It's Sport Relief's big day today and as is tradition there'll be some special comedy moments including Michael Crawford returning as Frank Spencer and the unlikely double act of Jack Whitehall and Gareth Bale.
Also as part of the event Gavin and Stacey's Smithy - aka James Cordon - has made a major announcement about his future. But rather than hear the news from us, we heard it from the most famous player on the planet.
So it's official (well it isn't really). But would world football be safe at the feet of Smithy? His campaign will be built on restoring the morality of the game and stopping any vulgar displays of players flaunting their far superior physiques.
