Woman's viral letter shames bully who asked for date
A woman whose letter to a former school bully who called her "manbeast" went viral on Facebook has said his "objectifying comments" led to her standing him up.
Louisa Manning stood the former bully up after he asked her out to dinner ten years later.
She said the bully commented on her weight loss and said she "looks great now" before inviting her out to dinner.
The letter, which was also published online, was delivered to her date at a restaurant along with a photo of her 12 year-old self. It informed him he had been stood up because of their past.
The unnamed former bully apologised via text immediately after receiving the letter and said "I hope you believe me when I say I'm a completely different person now. I can only apologise and wish you the very best. I guess I won't hear from you again but I mean it when I say I hope you have every success you deserve."
