A couple who say they were left "violated and shell-shocked" after Christmas presents were stolen from their home have written an open letter to the burglars to explain the hurt that they had caused. Steph and Eric Baker spoke to 5 live and read out their letter.

Steph said: "We will rise up triumphant knowing that you and people like you, will stay down in the gutter where you belong with all the other rats and vermin of this world."
