Alex Kumar

Alex Kumar

When Alex Kumar first appeared on JG's show, he was just听16 years old.

The singer songwriter from Topsham blew everyone away with his rendition of a self-penned song called "1963" and John has invited him back听to perform听again.

Alex has now turned 17 and his mission is to keep the blues alive following in the footsteps of the likes of Woody Guthrie, Robert Johnson, and Bob Dylan.

Don't miss him on today's show.

If you're a theatre goer, you may have seen Alistair (from Exmouth) in the West End production of Michael Morpurgo's Warhorse. He has played both Billy and Albert in the show.

If you're a cinema-goer, you may have seen him playing the part of Jean Prouvaire in the 2012 big screen version of Les Miserables.

He's back in Devon for a break and听will be joining the line-up on stage to chat about his career - and a concert he's taking part in this November - and to perform a song from Les Mis.

The Billycocks

The Billycocks

Robert Seymour and Daveid Harflett are The Billycocks.

The duo are passionate about folk music and perform traditional songs in a light and entertaining way.

All of their songs tell stories - some of them a bit colourful, but then that's folk, folks!

And in case you were wondering, a Billycock is a hat.

Low Tide Theory

Alan West's collaboration with Steve Black began about five years ago when they were both performing in separate duos and would occasionally stand in for one another.
