Singer James Yorkston talks about his new novel Tommy the Bruce, set in a run-down Perthshire hotel; he's also taking his Tae Sup Wi A Fifer musical roadshow on tour this week.

Before and After Coal is an exhibition currently on display at Kirkcaldy Galleries, put together by artist Nicky Bird. She used photographs of mining towns in the 1980s, taken by American artist Milton Rogovin, back to the communities he visited, to find out their stories and explore their memories.
