Radio 3 New Generation artists in concert and Verdi鈥檚 Four Sacred Pieces

Tom McKinney showcases the best performances from the UK and beyond including a 成人快手 Radio 3 New Generation Artist recital from Birmingham and Verdi鈥檚 Four Sacred Pieces.

Tom McKinney presents specially recorded music from across the UK and Europe.

There will be a focus on 成人快手 Radio 3 New Generation Artists with a specially recorded recital from Birmingham. Bass-baritone James Atkinson and pianist Hamish Brown will perform Ravel鈥檚 Histoires naturelles and violist Timothy Ridout and pianist Jonathan Ware will showcase music by Louis Vierne.

Plus, Tom continues a week-long feature of music written by composers in their twilight years. Today we will hear Giuseppe Verdi鈥檚 Four Sacred Pieces performed by the 成人快手 National Chorus of Wales, 成人快手 National Orchestra of Wales and conducted by Xian Zhang.
