There will be a focus on 成人快手 Radio 3 New Generation Artists with a specially recorded recital from Birmingham. Violist Timothy Ridout and pianist Jonathan Ware will perform C茅sar Franck鈥檚 Sonata in A for viola and piano.
Plus, Tom continues a week-long feature of music written by composers in their twilight years. Today we will hear Elgar鈥檚 Cello Concerto in E minor, performed by cellist Julia Hagen, the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra and conductor Axel Kober.
