Harry Hill presents a celebration of the life of his great friend and collaborator Steve Brown, who died in February 2024.

Steve was a musician and pioneer in the world of radio comedy who began his career working on several influential radio programmes in the 1980s like Radio Active, In One Ear and Week Ending to name just a few.

He would later go on to have a successful career in TV, working on shows like Spitting Image and Knowing Me Knowing You with Alan Partridge, where he memorably played the fictional band leader, Glenn Ponder.

He was also a very respected figure in the musical theatre world where he brought us shows like Spend, Spend, Spend and latterly worked with Harry himself on I Can鈥檛 Sing! The X Factor Musical and Tony! a rock opera about the life of Tony Blair.

In this tribute programme, Harry hears from some of Steve鈥檚 comedy and music associates like Steve Coogan, Grayson Perry, Laura Mvula, Jan Ravens, Barbara Dickson and Lenny Henry who look back and remember his life and work.
