Radio 2 Piano Room – Cat Burns

The former BRIT school student went from busking on the Southbank to mastering TikTok in lockdown, singing a mix of her favourite covers and original music.

Cat is the biggest-selling British female artist of 2022 - nominated for 3 BRIT awards: Song of the year, Rising Star and Best Pop & RnB Act. She performed her chart-topping single 'Go' live at this year’s BRITS. Her viral smash ‘go’, now 2x platinum, peaked at Number 2 on the Official Singles Chart and remained in the Top 10 for 17 weeks.

Cat will be out on tour with Sam Smith from April and she’ll be heading back on the road with Ed Sheeran later this year having toured with him last year.

Her latest Single People Pleaser is out now.

Jake Shears will be choosing his penultimate Tracks Of My Years, with tracks from Shirley and Lee and Duran Duran.
