Scott the engineer comes into studio to sort out a few technical difficulties. "He's walking around looking very important," says Sean. "He's got the telephone out. There must be something happening now!"

Sean reads some advice from a listener in Bangor: "Tell Captain Coyle," he reads, "to send Scottie down to me and he'll get the engine room sorted out. I'll give him a few Di-lith... is it dileethium batteries? Dye-lathium crystals!"

Scott sorts out the problem. Dilithium crystals are not required.

"I'm going to have to get Captain Coyle up to speed on Star Trek," says Davy in Bangor.

"I was never into Star Trek at all," Sean says. "When we were in America at the Paramount Studios, we saw the set. Myself, Gerry, and The Undertone were there, and we weren't a bit interested in it. What I laughed at, you know, was the sliding doors! Shwook! Sshwook! They were all plywood! Not even a handle on them! Must have been some guy standing behind them pushing them open, and pulling them back! And these panels with lights on them, leading down into batteries! No. I'm sorry, Davy. I hope that doesn't spoil the show on you."
