As a youngster, presenter and comedian Gary Slaymaker fell in love with the game of darts through watching Indoor League, and the News of the World Darts Championship, way back in 1972. Since then he鈥檚 been an avid fan, and has been to a few tournaments over the years. In this one-off programme, Gary explains his love of darts, and looks back at some of the Welsh legends that strengthened his constant affection for the game. Throughout the show, he also meets a number of other fans who share his passion; and speaks to current players, who are well on their way to becoming part of the pantheon of Welsh darting heroes. With darts proving to be an even bigger draw than ever before; it鈥檚 time to meet the next generation of Welsh players, ready to join the pantheon of darting immortals.
