Modern Christian praise music spans many genres, from rock and pop to rap and dance. In this Joyful Noise programme, Ruth Dalzell celebrates the very best of modern Christian praise music, alongside some well-known mainstream songs, that all come together to create half an hour of positive and uplifting music.

As well as music from some of the best-known Christian artists, the programme features praise music that has a local connection to Northern Ireland through songwriting, musicians or singers. The local connections come from The Rend Collective, Leah McFall and The Conscious & The Automatic, and chart-topping praise songs include My Feet Are On The Rock, Christ Is Mine for Evermore and The Golden Rule. The mainstream track, with a Christian connection comes from OneRepublic.
