Radio 3 New Generation Artists: Soprano Fatma Said is joined by pianist Dearbhla Collins in Robert Schumann's 7 Songs Op 104. Pianist Alexander Gadjiev's recent CD features music by Alexander and Nikolai Tcherepnin, and Prokofiev. This recording frrom July has been selected as Gramophone Editor鈥檚 choice for October, and from that we'll hear him play Prokofiev's Visions fugitives, Op.22, a cycle of piano miniatures displaying Prokofiev's characteristically contrasting moods.
