'I don't like it now. I didn't like it then.'

Sean remembers taking up space while other people were dancing The Slosh.

'I remember years ago,' Sean says, 'I was at a dance with my wife and we were having a great dance, and they started this dance, The Slosh. That's the one where they form this line... it's all lines across the floor. My wife and I didn't know how to do The Slosh. We were trying to jive. We were taking up space, and this woman came over and said, 'You'll have to get off. You're spoiling our line.' And she grabbed me and dug her nails into my side and said, 'Are you going to get off the floor?' And she left me with finger marks on my side. I kept it from my wife. She doesn't know the pain I went through that night just for her.'

With music from Daniel Boone, The Who, The Fortunes, and more.
