A growing number of dog paddocks are popping up, where dog walkers have exclusive use of fields. Farmer Andrew Corner from Easingwold in North Yorkshire is hoping to be the first in his district to get planning permission to turn a tenth of his farmland over to dog exercising.
It's salad week on Farming Today. There was a time, and not too long ago, when you'd only find one or perhaps two types of tomato in the shops. Now, innovations in growing methods, along with more sophisticated consumer demand, mean that our farmers grow a far wider range of tomatoes. Caz Graham went to meet Andy Roe amongst his tomato vines in a massive glasshouse near Ormskirk, West Lancashire. 聽
