Max Martin: The Hitmaker

A celebration of the Swedish songwriter, record producer and singer for Bank Holiday Monday, presented by Scott Mills.

Scott Mills celebrates the work of Swedish songwriter, record producer and singer Max Martin.
It's now 20 years since Baby One More Time - a song that Max wrote and co-produced - became his first UK and US number one single, and went on to be the biggest selling single of 1999 in the UK.
During his career, Max has written and produced massive hits for artists including Britney Spears, Adele, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, P!nk, Katy Perry, Celine Dion, Ellie Goulding, Justin Timberlake, Justin Bieber, Bon Jovi, The Backstreet Boys, Maroon 5 and N Sync.
Scott speaks to some of the people who've worked with Max, counts down Max's Top 10 biggest hits in the UK as compiled by the Official Charts Company and looks ahead to the next step - the musical & Juliet which is based around his songs.
