Paralympian Stef Reid & Jinkx Monsoon

The Reverend Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad present ethical and religious issues, with guests and spiritual music.

Following an horrific boating accident when she was 15 years old, Stef Reid had to have a leg amputated. In the ambulance, Stef says she remembers praying for a second chance. Stef went on to become a professional athlete competing at Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio 2016 Parlympics. Stef has just returned from a trip to see The Leprosy Mission鈥檚 Anandaban Hospital in Nepal. There she had her state-of-the-art prosthetic replaced with a basic design made in the hospital鈥檚 workshop similar to those who have lost lower limbs as a result of leprosy.

The baritone Roderick Williams is also in the studio to talk about his role in the forthcoming production of Bach鈥檚 St John Passion which has an all-star cast and is being conducted by Sir Simon Rattle. Roddie also shares his taste in contemporary music, talks about his time in a boy band and why he would sing Whitney in a karaoke bar.

And drag performer and comedian Jerick Hoffer brings his drag persona Jinkx Monsoon in to the studio. Jinkx won series 5 winner of RuPaul's Drag Race and Jared explains why he decided to make Jinkx a Jewish character even though he was raised a Catholic.
