Meeting called by Secretary of State ends in serious recriminations as some say we have reached a new political low.
It's fair to say that yesterday's talks hosted by the Secretary of State at Stormont did not go well. SDLP leader Colum Eastwood branded the meeting a "waste of time". And the UUP leader Robin Swann said the talks were badly organised and handled by Karen Bradley. Vinny spoke to Alliance leader Naomi Long, UUP MLA Doug Beattie, SDLP MLA Daniel McCrossan and got reaction from Irish News journalist Allison Morris and commentator Malachi O'Doherty.
Also on the programme, the Bank of England is running a campaign for people to nominate who should be on the new plastic 拢50 note. They want a character who is widely admired and who has made an important contribution to society and culture. It can't be a fictional person, or anyone who's still living. And they have to be easily recognisable. Vinny got the views of journalist Jim McDowell and the commentator Fionola Meredith.
And, he's a truck fitter, road racer, endurance push biker, TV presenter and author. Guy Martin certainly keeps himself busy. He's written a new book called "We Need to Weaken the Mixture." Vinny spoke to him and asked why he chose that title.
