Primal Scream play live music from their latest album, Chaosmosis.

Released last Friday, Chaosmosis is the eleventh album from Bobby Gillespie and co. It's now 15 years since the Scottish band released their era-defining third album, Screamadelica, but there's little evidence of the group slowing down. Featuring collaborations with Sky Ferreira, Haim, and Cat's Eyes' Rachel Zeffira, Chaosmosis was recorded in London, New York and Stockholm and finds the group embracing a big, synth-heavy sound. Of the writing process, Gillespie says: "We work more like artists than a rock band; jamming with a whole band to write songs is not our way." Following a storming set at last month's 6 Music Festival, we welcome Primal Scream to the studio for live music and conversation about their lasting influence and impact on modern music.
