He explains why the album moved him and plays three key tracks from it. This week it's Public Enemy's 1988 release It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back.

Don says, "Public Enemy's second album came hard and fast. Chuck D's politically charged lyrics were driven by some serious beats 'n' bass, layered with the sounds of the streets. The end result was a cultural soundtrack unlike anything we'd heard before - this album was a game changer. Chuck said that he was looking to make the hip-hop equivalent of Marvin Gaye's What's Going On with this record... job done!".
