Scottish comedian Janey Godley hunts for the humour in the referendum, talking to fellow comedians about political satire and how they are embracing or avoiding it.

It's a serious business deciding your constitutional future. A very serious business indeed. Not many laughs there you'd think. But Scottish comedian Janey Godley believes it shouldn't be devoid of humour. When people are making jokes about it or finding the ridiculous they are engaging in it. Are we seeing the dawn of a comedic awakening? An emergence of a collective humorous consciousness? In the hunt for the humour in the referendum Janey talks to some of her fellow comedians about political satire, the referendum and how they are embracing or avoiding it. As decision day draws closer she also takes to the streets to find out what there is to laugh about..
