India v Pakistan Edgbaston cricket rivalry

Naresh Puri sits in for Nihal and asks why British Asian cricket fans are so passionate about seeing India v Pakistan. Plus join the police commissioner election discussion.

Join the debate with Naresh Puri at 10, he's asking, why are British Asian cricket fans so passionate about seeing India versus Pakistan? Tickets for the champions trophy match between India and Pakistan due to take place at Edgbaston next June went on sale yesterday and they sold out .It was by far and away the quickest seller with all the seats gone within three hours. It's probably not much of a surprise but why is this rivalry in the the UK so intense. Is this about two teams playing each other to see which cricket side is the best or do you think it's about bigger issues. Maybe its more to do with the history of the two countries? After 11, our expert panel will be discussing the upcoming local police commissioner elections. And we end the show by asking, what does the poppy mean to you?
