The honeybee contributes hundreds of millions of pounds to the economy every year through its role as a pollinator of crops. But the insect has been under increasing threat from disease and unexplained deaths over the past decade. Farming Today has been trying to understand more about the pressures facing the honeybee and, for the past eight months, has been looking after its own hive.
