It's show-and-tell day in school, and Sweeny is demonstrating his uncle's handcuffs. Pipsquawk tries to chain Lottie to a desk, but attaches her to himself by mistake. Attracted by its shininess, a magpie makes off with the key, and Pipsquawk is horrified. Everyone thinks he and Lottie are new best friends, including Nine. Is Nine jealous? Just a little.
