The Radio Scotland Years

Before he became one of the most significant figures in British television comedy, Armando Iannucci spent a year working at Radio Scotland, doing pretty much what he does now, whatever he fancied.

He presented youth programmes and spent the rest of the time creating comedy sketches and honing the skills which would eventually put him at the centre of British comedy, both on television and radio.

Dave Batchelor plays a selection of these sketches to him and discovers whether he displays a fatherly pride in his youthful efforts or writhes in embarrassment.
