Vertigo
An ex-police officer, who suffers from an intense fear of heights, is hired to trail an old friend's wife.
Suddenly dangerously disorientated by heights, detective John Ferguson resigns from the San Francisco police and is reluctant when asked by an old college friend to trail the man's wife, Madeleine, whose behaviour is causing concern. But John gradually becomes obsessed with the troubled woman and increasingly intervenes in her life.
Classic Hitchcock psychological thriller.
