Glastonbury 2017: Who to watch if you're a Radio 2 listener
Whether you're donning your wellies for Worthy Farm, or watching from the comfort of your sofa, chances are that this weekend will be ALL about Glastonbury.
But, with so many fantastic acts and stages to choose from, it can be hard to know where to start. Here are some handy suggestions for what to catch if you're a fan of Radio 2. Make sure you get all the info on how to watch, listen, and experience the whole festival!
The Pretenders, Friday, Other Stage, 11:00
What better way to start your Glastonbury experience than with one of the biggest bands of the eighties?
For early risers on site at Worthy Farm, The Pretenders will be a must-see first stop of the day. Chrissie Hynde and co will slip down perfectly with breakfast and a morning coffee.

George Ezra is one of the UK's most talented new stars and he’s been back on the Radio 2 playlist with his new single, Don't Matter Now.

Maggie Rogers, Saturday, John Peel Stage, 12:00
Maggie Rogers first came to attention when she performed for Pharrell Williams in 2016 as a student at New York University.
Fast forward a year and she has been playlisted by Radio 2 and is now performing at the biggest music festival in the world.
Maggie mixes soul, pop, jazz and electronica in her music and if you watch her Glastonbury performance, you'll be as impressed as Pharrell.
Jools Holland & his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, Saturday, Pyramid Stage, 13:15
Radio 2's own superstar Jools Holland will be hitting the Pyramid Stage on Saturday lunchtime with his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, and we just can't wait.
While the big pop and rock acts sometimes get the most Glastonbury headlines, the festival is a chance to celebrate all kinds of music, and we know Jools will do a fabulous job weaving his eclectic magic on the festival stage once more.

Falling somewhere between Mumford & Sons and Fleetwood Mac, few bands make more sense in a field than Wildwood Kin.
Set to join us for Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park later in the year, this trio have made a name for themselves with their sweet melodies and powerful harmonies. Catch them live early so you can claim you knew the band before they got massive.
Liam Gallagher, Saturday, Other Stage, 17:45
Does Liam Gallagher need an introduction? Probably not. The Oasis frontman is one of the most recognisable British musicians of all time.
After huge success with brother Noel in the nineties and more recently with his band Beady Eye, Liam is back as a solo artist and sounding better than he has in years. Watch his Glasto set for a taste of his new album and a few Britpop classics.

Among the big name bands and rising stars, you can always rely on Glastonbury to deliver some true legends, with The Jacksons joining the Somerset line-up.
With Michael Jackson gone, his brothers have carried on his legacy through the decades and will thrill festival audiences of all ages when they perform a late night slot featuring some of the most memorable songs of all time.

Perhaps second only to Adele when it comes to modern British divas (quite a statement, we know), Emeli Sande is a flawless vocalist with a collection of stirring modern soul songs.
She's also a favourite at Radio 2 and will be a big highlight of Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park in September. She's spent many weeks on the playlist in 2017, and is the perfect star to wind down to on a Sunday evening, whether you've been partying all weekend on Michael Eavis's farm or following the action at home.
Ed Sheeran, Sunday, Pyramid Stage, 21:45
As Sunday night draws to a close it’s no time to switch off, one of the UK’s biggest pop stars is still to come!
Ed Sheeran headlines the final night of Glastonbury 2017, following Radiohead and Foo Fighters on the previous two nights.
His varied sounds will inevitably prove to be a highlight of the weekend, whether he's making viewing dance with songs such as Shape Of You or stirring hearts with mega-ballad, Thinking Out Loud. Don't miss this talented guitar-wielding prince in one of the biggest shows of his career.
