Former Wimbledon ladies singles champion and World No. 1 Lindsay Davenport will be joining the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ's line-up when it commences its live and exclusive coverage of the 2010 Wimbledon Championships on 21 June 2010.
1999 champion Davenport joins an enviable line up that already features Tim Henman, John McEnroe, Boris Becker, John Lloyd, Greg Rusedski, Andrew Castle, Tracy Austin, Virginia Wade, Mark Petchey, David Mercer, Peter Fleming, Barry Davies, Mark Cox, Simon Reed, Chris Bradnam, Matt Chilton, Liz Smylie, Sam Smith, Jason Goodall, Jo Durie and Louise Pleming. Reporters onsite adding daily colour to the championships are Garry Richardson, Phil Jones, Rishi Persad and Celina Hinchcliffe.
Sue Barker will present live daytime and evening coverage on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ One and ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Two. The daily highlights show Today At Wimbledon will be presented by John Inverdale on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Two each weekday evening.
As well as coverage on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ One, ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Two and the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ HD channel, viewers will be able to follow the championships via ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Online, who will be streaming all the live action direct to viewers' PCs and offering live text commentaries via the mobile service. ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Red Button will also offer a wide range of viewing options throughout Wimbledon and with ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 5 Live providing extensive coverage, interviews and commentary from Wimbledon, there are more ways than ever to follow the excitement and action this year.
³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Red Button will offer a choice of up to five live matches, plus a highlights service and replays of the top matches. Viewers will also be able to switch between commentary and no-commentary options on selected live matches. When there is coverage on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ One and ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Two, Freeview will offer a choice of up to four matches. A digital text service will also be available with news, results and score updates.
³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ's Sport website will have live streaming and on-demand highlights. Interviews from the television coverage will also feature, and there will be live scoring available on your PC. Mobile users can follow the latest action by reading the live text commentary service. There will also be match reports and quotes as well as analysis from the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ talent team at the Championships. Wimbledon is available online and on your mobile at bbc.co.uk/tennis.
³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ iPlayer will be offering up to two full matches every day of the tournament. Today At Wimbledon will also be available on demand from ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ iPlayer.
