Rev – production credits

James Wood – writer

James Wood co-created Rev with Tom Hollander and has written five of the six episodes.

James wrote ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Two's critically acclaimed comedy series Freezing, which starred Hugh Bonneville, Tom Hollander and Elizabeth McGovern.

He has several projects in development with the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ and Channel 4 and has recently written his first play, for the Donmar.

Peter Cattaneo – director

Peter Cattaneo began his directing career in 1990 with the Bafta and Oscar-nominated short film Dear Rosie. Other credits include The Rocker, the story of a failed drummer who is given a second chance at fame, for 20th Century Fox; the Bafta Award-winning Loved Up for ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ; and Lucy Break for Film Four, starring Olivia Williams, Bill Nighy, Jimmy Nesbitt and Tim Spall.

Peter directed The Full Monty, starring Robert Carlyle and Tom Wilkinson. The hugely popular film received several awards including the Bafta for best film, and was nominated for four Oscars including Best Director.

Peter has a number of film projects in development.

Kenton Allen – producer

Kenton Allen became Chief Executive of Big Talk Productions in September 2008. Big Talk is one of the UK's leading production companies, responsible for the television series Spaced, Black Books and Free Agents and the hit films Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz.

Kenton is a former Creative Head of ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Comedy and a multi-award-winning programme maker with credits including the multi-Bafta-winning sitcom The Royle Family and the Oscar award-winning film Six Shooter.

He began his television career when Jonathan Ross invited him to leave the world of ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 4 and join Channel X Productions, where he produced over 200 live editions of the comedy chat show Tonight With Jonathan Ross for Channel 4.

Hannah Pescod – producer

Hannah Pescod initially trained as a script editor at The Bill. She joined independent production company Darrall Macqueen to set up their innovative interactive C³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ drama UGetMe, assembling a writing team which included Olivier Award-winning playwright Michael Wynne and Howard Overman, who went on to create Misfits and Vexed.

She established Darrall Macqueen's fiction department, also co-creating and co-producing children's sitcom The Crust, starring Reggie Yates.

Hannah produced Hat Trick's That Summer Day for Children's ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ in 2006. The one-off drama about the 7/7 London bombings won a Bafta for best children's drama and was shortlisted for the Royal Television Society, Broadcast, Televisual Bulldog and Mental Health Media awards.

Hannah remained at Hat Trick as a development producer, working with acclaimed writers including Bill Gallagher, Simon Ashdown, Debbie Horsfield and Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais.

She produced two fairy tales in Hat Trick's comedy drama anthology for primetime ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ One – Jeremy Dyson's Billy Goat, directed by Euros Lyn and starring Bernard Hill, Paul Nicholls and Mathew Horne; and Ed Roe's Rapunzel, directed by Catherine Morshead and starring Lee Ingleby, Charity Wakefield and Geraldine James.

She joined the Rev team to help develop the scripts and then produce the show with Kenton Allen.
