It's easy to think that the world of sex work is populated by drug users and society's dispossessed, but financial pressures have pushed increasing numbers of students to sell their bodies.

Young, educated and ambitious students are plying their trade as escorts, strippers and actors in adult films to pay off their student tuition fees and debts. With unique access, this film unravels the chain of events that could cause young students to make that choice.

Nineteen-year-old undergraduate and single mum Amy says with such high demands on her time, and her money, her only choice is to work as a lap dancer, but she's desperate to quit.

She says she sometimes feels too young for this sort of work, and men often don't want her to dance for them as she has such an innocent look. The programme follows her as she makes a difficult choice as to how she will make ends meet.
