Kevin McKidd began his acting career
on the stage, starring in The Silver Darlings, for which he won the
Gulliver Award.

He made his film debut in 1996 with Trainspotting and
Small Faces.

His other film credits include Kingdom of Heaven, De-Lovely,
The Purifiers, Sixteen Years of Alcohol - for which he was nominated
for Best Actor at the British Independent Film Awards - One Last Chance,
Nicholas Nickleby, Dog Soldiers, Topsy-Turvy, Hideous Kinky, Regeneration,
Dad Savage, Max, Bedrooms and Hallways and The Acid House.

He has just completed filming The Virgin Queen, a four-part
historical drama for the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ, and is currently in Tunisia, shooting
The Last Legion for Dino de Laurentis.
