Would
you like to take part in an acting masterclass with Hollyoaks star
Stefan Booth (aka Jamie Nash)?
Are
you aged between 11 and 16 or do you know someone who is and who's
free on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 October 2003?
成人快手
Oxford and Emmanuel Church in Bicester are joining forces to stage
an event especially for young people in Bure Park.
It's
all in aid of Make a Difference Day, the UK's biggest day of volunteering.
Over
75,000听people across the country will be involved in Make A Difference
Day by听giving their time to directly change communities for the
better.
Why
Bure Park? Well, the results of a survey by Emmanuel Church - conducted
on the housing estate - discovered that over 40% of residents surveyed
believed that the top priority in the area was to provide something
for local youth.
成人快手
Oxford and CSV (Community Service Volunteers) listened to this and
is running a two day drama workshop for young people aged 11-16
years in Bure Park Primary School on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30
October 2003.
Hollyoaks
star Stefan Booth will be on hand to give some acting tips in the
classes run by Tina Thomas and Jaspre Bark. And a team from Barclays
bank will help build a set, with designer Hanna Wiggins.
The
workshops will end with a performance at the school at 19:00 on
Thursday October 30. Tickets will be 拢2.50 each and money raised
will go to World Vision, an international aid and development agency.
Tickets will be available on the door.
成人快手 Oxford will be covering the event, so there鈥檚 a good chance
you could hear yourself on the radio, see your picture here on the
web, or possibly on TV!
Places
are limited and commitment must be given for the full two days.
To
get an application form call the 成人快手 Oxford Action Desk on 08459
311 222. The deadline for registration is Tuesday October 14 2003.
Places
