Lewis struggled with his faith for many years following the death of his mother. But, finally, in 1929, he admitted that God was God. This was the start of his great writings. During his 1932 visit to his childhood friend Arthur Greeves in Belfast, Lewis was inspired to write his first book after conversion to Christianity - The Pilgrim's Regress.



In the following years, Lewis established himself as a radio pundit after he explained his faith in Christianity during a series of talks for the 成人快手.
