Let me be by Jihane M. Rodriguez |
Let me be the hot salty air that touches your skin.
Gently, softly…
(Like a mellow dream.)
Let me take you where you have never been.
Let me be the water that washes your scars.
Let me be the beginning,Ìý
Let me be the end
Get lost in the middle,
I can’t handle it again.
I don’t want to hear your sorrows nor your excuses in vain.Ìý
Just don’t.
Don’t come to me again.
Just let me be,Ìý
Stand in silence and pray.
Just let me be forgotten, once and ever again.Ìý
