In pictures: Autumn turns to winter

Say goodbye to the joint-warmest autumn since 1910 with some photographs from around Northern Ireland. Peter Breene called this photo 'Frosty Morn'

Martin McKenna went storm chasing on the County Antrim coast and was treated to some wild weather. This image of Ballintoy Harbour shows a large thunderstorm over the sea between Northern Ireland and Scotland. "I watched with amazement as lightning flashed from it 13 times which lit up the sky and stars and cast shadows on the beach," he said
