Belfast Cinderella wedding creates a stir

Paul J Murphy, a freelance photographer and IT analyst, who took some of these photographs, said it was a 'fascinating' spectacle

'The interest it generated was quite amazing,' he said

'Some people thought the dresses on display looked like something out of My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding'

The spectacle created some excitement on Twitter as well

Adam McGibbon tweeted that as the wedding drove past the Queen's students' union 'all work stopped'

The wedding took place at the Ten Square Hotel near Belfast city centre
