The man in the car sustained a minor injury in the shooting in Mulberry Avenue
A man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting in Leicester has been released on bail.
Officers went to Mulberry Avenue just before 23:00 GMT after a firearm was reportedly discharged into a stationary car, Leicestershire Police said.
The man in the car, who is in his 30s, sustained a minor injury.
The arrested man, 48, who was detained on Sunday, has since been released on bail while inquiries continue, the force added.
