Michael Neser and the recalled Billy Root have broken the record for the highest eighth wicket stand by a Glamorgan pair against Durham.
Their stand of 113 today has seen the game drift away from the Durham attack. It also broke the 108 put on by Alex Wharf and Darren Thomas in Cardiff in 2004.
I wonder if Wharf is aware his record is broken? He should be. He's umpiring in this one!
Neser has just gone lbw to Ben Raine for 62 while Root has become the fourth player in the innings to reach 50. And yet again I am wondering how Durham will take 20 wickets in a match once more. They haven't done it yet this season.
Glamorgan were 148 runs behind when Neser came out to the middle and just 35 when he returned to the pavilion.
A thief who posed as a tradesman to steal money from vulnerable and elderly people's homes has been jailed for almost four years.
David Leonard posed as a worker from a plumbing company and convinced elderly residents to let him into their homes before taking their cash.
The 53-year-old from Jubilee View in Newcastle pleaded guilty to a string of burglary offences between February and March this year.
He was jailed for 45 months.
Det Sgt Dave Lumsden said: 鈥淟eonard preyed on vulnerable, elderly women and invaded their privacy by tricking them into letting them into their homes where he has stolen whatever cash he could find.
鈥淚f someone turns up at your door unannounced you are well within your rights to ask for identification and refuse them entry until you are satisfied they are who they saw they are 鈥 and no reputable organisation will be annoyed at this.鈥

For the first time in the innings Glamorgan have managed to put together a stand of more than 50.
The partnership for the fifth wicket was 47 and it was 46 for the next one. The current partnership from Billy Root and Michael Neser is 56. Neser's 32 is his highest score for the county. Root is on 22 from 50 deliveries.
Glamorgan lost Kiran Carlson to the first delivery of the afternoon session as he was bowled by Matty Potts for 53. Potts then had Chris Cooke caught down the legside for 16.
Potts is in fine form. He's enjoying his best season so far with 28 dismissals. He looks bigger this year and a yard quicker. He will no doubt be on the radar of the England set up soon, if not already.
Newcastle United appoint Majed Al Sorour - the chief executive of Golf Saudi - as a director of the club.

Sam Northeast played some nice shots as he made his way to 51. But no sooner had he got there than he was out, edging Chris Rushworth to the keeper a couple of overs after he had driven him to the boundary three times.
Northeast boasts two centuries against Durham for Kent. He was batting well today and we'd just commented on the fact on each of the three previous occasions he'd got to 50 this year he'd made it to the 80s. Not this time though.
Earlier David Lloyd fell for nine and Marnus Labuschagne for 17. He looked out of sorts this morning, facing 27 balls for just one run, before falling LBW to Ben Raine in the bowler's second over of the day.

It is only his second appearance of the season but Durham's Ben Stokes has equalled the record for the most number of sixes at the club in a first-class campaign.
17 of them were scored in his innings last week at Worcester. Today he only hit the two, both slog sweeps off Marnus Labuschagne through deep mid-wicket. But it takes him level on 19 with the record set by John Morris way back in 1994.
Stokes has perished though. He was eventually caught behind off Michael Hogan on 82. And Durham may well have left themselves short here. This is a 350-run track at the least. They are 299-9 v Glamorgan in the 83rd over and one away from a third batting point.

Ben Stokes broke the Durham record for the fastest first-class century a week ago when making three figures in 64 balls. So, in comparison, his half century today was far more sedate.
It took 74 balls and included 6x4s. After blasting 17 sixes last week, there hasn't been one today.
His partnership with Ned Eckersley, which has just come to an end, was worth 54 for the sixth wicket. Eckersley was dismissed for 21, caught behind off Michael Neser.
The wicket doesn't seem too bad. If anything the greenery on it has left it a touch on the slow side and some of the shots we have seen this afternoon have reflected this.
