Niki McMorrough from Market Harborough left her degree course at De Montfort University in Leicester before graduation to concentrate on her business making high class lingerie and support wear.

Her first ever client was Victoria Beckham and after just two years of trading her company's already exporting to 12 countries around the world.

She's been nominated for a major international export award, and if she wins it would her gain important footing in the industry.

Lingerie from the 'Made by Niki' range

The business is called 'Made by Niki' and now Niki's husband, Scott, has joined her to work on the company.

Niki's house is full of knickers, suspender belts, bras and corsetry and some of it's very unique:

"I have bras which have little prints on with little jodphurs and saddles, lots of little riding boots.

"And then the knickers, they come with all sorts of removable jewellery that you can mix and match, including little dangly riding boot pendants."

"Look like a movie star"

'Made by Niki' makes support and shape wear too, and Niki says she gets her inspiration from what people need:

"We analyse the industry and work out what isn't there that people need, and this is where the shape wear came from.

"You can look like a movie star and have the body shape that you want."

Niki's hoping that her company wins the major international export award as it would help her business grow:

"It's a really important award. Fashion is a funny industry and the more endorsement you can get from other people the better."
