Your Story: My Grandad George |

My Grandad George was an electrician who tested, installed, maintened and examined all electrical apparatus. He lived in a 2 bedroom semi-detatched bungalow called Montana. My Granda enjoyed entertainment such as general sports and social drinking. He wore modern suits, sports jackets and trousers. Fish and chips was my Granda's favourite meal and he also he liked suet pudding, fried foods and hot pots. Sports and girls is what my Granda liked about school. My Granda enjoyed rock'n'roll, skiffle, Lonny Donagon, Elvis Presley and the Everly Brothers plus he says music is now rubbish and he prefers Classic FM. He spent holidays and other vacations in Scarbourough, Blackpool and he visited relatives in Northampton. When my Granda was 21 it was the year 1963.
