Your Story: The CHIN / CHING Name, and persons in Cornwall |

This is the start of my research into where the Ching name came from. There is supposed to be in existence a family tree that traces the Ching family back to Cornwall. Our tree traces the family back to England around Chingford and Herefordshire where most of our ancestors there were married in Vernham Dean, which of course doesn't mean that they all lived in that area. I would be very grateful to any information some of your readers may come up with. Maybe some of the family descendants may still be living around the area and can throw some light on our family ties.
