While most echinaceas come in shades of purple and pink, 'White Lustre' stands out with its bold white flowers that have grey-yellow centres. Slightly more compact than most, it does not require staking. Its easy-going nature makes it a good choice for any decent soil, preferring a sunny site, in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. 'White Lustre' associates particularly well with late-flowering perennials and ornamental grasses.
