RobinGarden friends
Many of the insects, birds and amphibians which come to our gardens will help to control pests by eating them.
There are lots of ways we can encourage these friends:
  • Grow nectar-rich flowers, such as the poached egg plant, Limnanthes douglasii.
  • Leave places for them to live over winter.
  • Make a wildlife pool.
  • Put out bird food, water and nesting boxes.
