Pasta with halloumi and red onion

A really easy pasta recipe for when you need a satisfying dinner in a hurry.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add the onion and the chilli flakes and fry for 2-3 minutes, until soft.

  2. Add the halloumi and fry for 2-3 minutes, until golden.

  3. Add the pasta, fresh herbs and lemon juice and mix together well.

  4. To serve, place in a warm bowl and season, to taste, with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
